Transportation to Airport from Tenerife City Center

Tenerife North Ciudad De La Laguna - Los Rodeos  Airport

Buses that depart from the terminal located in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife city center and the taxis waiting in in all parts of the city work in a busy schedule to make it easier for passengers to get to the airport. Car rental companies provide a daily service for those who want to travel by private car.

Taxi

Taxis can be seen as an expensive alternative in Tenerife due to the fact that the airport is close to the city center and there are many flights to and from the airport every hour of the day. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the airport with taxis for those who want a quick and comfortable journey.

Bus

Buses 102, 104, 107 and 108, which you can take from the bus terminal in the city center, carry passengers to the airport from 7 am to midnight. You must buy a daily or a single use ticket to take the buses that reach to the airport in 25 minutes.  

Car Rental

Especially in the summer months there is an intense demand for rental cars, so it may be beneficial to make reservations via the internet or over the phone. You can rent vehicles at the prices and types you want from Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz, which are among the most important car rental companies in the city, and you can deliver these vehicles to authorities at the airport.

Tenerife Norte Airport, a large complex, has a multi-storey single-terminal building where all services are offered together. This airport meets all your needs before and after the flight, including a wide range of services from child care room to meeting room and from souvenir shops to eating and drinking areas.

Farmacia Pharmacy, where you can take all kinds of health care, is open until 8 pm on weekdays and closes earlier on weekends. In addition, passengers can get additional services on the mezzanine VIP lounge. The VIP lounge, which is open from 06:15 to 22:30, includes reception, catering, air traffic information, television lounge, computer, internet, book and children's playground.

Buy-Bye, Tenerife Futy Free, GAP & Superdry, Sunglass Hut, Hudson News, Relay and Loro Paqwue are the stores for those who want to buy perfume, clothing, jewelry and similar products at the airport. Those who need to eat and drink can meet these needs in Tasca Grill, Burger King, Panaria, Bar Tenerife, Cafe Select and Cafeteria Careca.

Transportation to Dublin City Center from Airport

Dublin Airport

Dublin is also known as "the capital not only of Ireland but also the literature" since it is the hometown of the famous literature figures such as James Joyce, Bernard Shaw, and Jack London. The airport is only 10 kilometers north of the city.

Metro

It is possible to get to Parnell Square and O'Connell in the city center by the metro line called "Northern Metro" from the airport.

The metro which departs from the ground floor of the airport terminals reaches the station in Parnell Square and O’Connell/Abbey St. stations in O'Connell in half an hour. The buses departing from the Parnell Square, which is a big park, provide transportation service to all parts of the city as well as they offer transfer option to the rail system lines, especially to the south and east lines, through the metro stations.

Airport Buses

Dublin Airport, which is the most important airport in the Republic of Ireland, is also the busiest airport in Ireland together with Belfast Airport. Both airports serve the people on the entire island and the buses carry passengers between the airport and the various regions. The private shuttle buses of Air Link and Air Coach companies provide transportation service between the airport and Dublin city center.

Buses depart every 15 or 30 minutes. The buses of both companies go up to O'Connell.

City Buses

It is also possible to reach the city center from the airport by city buses. You can get to Parnell Square in 25 minutes by bus number 747, which departs every 20 minutes from the airport.

In addition, the buses 16, 16C, 33, 41 and 41C departing from the airport will also take you to various points at Parnell Square.

Taxi

It takes about 20 minutes to reach O'Connell in the city center by taxi departing from the gates of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

Rent a car

There are 8 car rental offices at the airport. You can rent a car from these car rental offices, three of which operate on pre-booking system. Once you rent a car, all you need to do is to take the Swords Road to reach the city center. Then you should drive through the Coolock road and take the "City Center – Dublin Port" turning and head to Parnell Square. This road will lead you directly to O'Connell.
