About Lindi

Lindi, a small seaside town on the southern tip of Tanzania, is also the capital of the region of the same name. Located where the Lukuledi River meets the Indian Ocean, it is one of Tanzania's least populated cities. In Lindi, there is a medium-sized port where cargo and passenger ships can operate. The city, which has a tropical climate, has a very rainy and humid climate in the summer months, but is almost dry during the winter months. Kikwetu Airport is 20 km from the city. It is located in the Northeast.
