Transportation to Airport from Macau City Center

Macau International Airport

Macau International Airport, which is used for transportation in and around Macau, is located to the east of Taipa Island. There are almost countless transportation alternatives ranging from taxi, city limousines, ferryboats, jet transfer, rental cars and bus in order to get to the airport from Macau city center. You can complete your journey from Macau city center to the airport without having any difficulty by choosing from these means of transportation depending on your needs and budget.

Bus

In Macau, going to the airport by bus is one of the most economical options you can choose. By paying 3 to 5 Macau Patacas, you can make your journey to the airport from the major points of the city such as Border Gate, Leonel Sousa, Portas De Corco or Praceta 24 De Junho Bacia. If you are coming from Norte Do Patane or its neighborhoods, you can reach the airport by bus. It is incredibly comfortable to catch your flight after getting off the bus that takes you to the airport terminal; however, keep in mind that the buses pass through a large number of stops and you may lose some time with the bus ride if you don’t have much time to catch your flight. You can take the bus 26 from Border Gate, the bus AP1 from Portas De Corco and the bus N2 from Bacia Norto De Patane in order to arrive at the airport.

Ferryboat

The ferry terminal is 10 minutes away from Macau International Airport. Once you arrive at the Macau Ferry Pier from Hong Kong and the hundreds of points from the surrounding area, you can easily transfer to the airport by taxi.

TurboJET

TurboJET is ideal for passengers who are in a hurry and want to have a much more special experience while going to the airport. Compared to the ferryboats, you can reach the pier faster by taking a turbojet; once you get off at the pier located near the airport, you can arrive at the gates of Macau International Airport by taxi. You can find out the fare of turbojet transportation online or at the pier.

Your car

For those who want to get to the airport by their own cars from Macau city center, the journey to the airport is extremely easy and fast. You can reach the terminal entrance in a short time without having any difficulty by following the Macau International Airport signs while driving your car.
